We regret that post-shipment change of address service is not available.
If you find that the delivery address is filled in incorrectly, and the parcel is already in transit, METGIFT will no longer be able to change the address in time. We are unable to provide specific delivery dates, but you can contact carrier customer service to inquire about having your package held for up to 2~5 business days at their distribution center for pick up.

Due to different states and cities having different tax rates, we do not allow our customers to change the city, state, or ZIP code after the order has been placed when the order is paid for via credit card or bank transfer. If the order is paid for via Paypal or Affirm, no changes can be made since the payment service provider verifies shipping address information before they approve payment.

We do not require signatures on receiving our packages.

If the tracking details show that your package was delivered and you cannot locate it, we ask that you wait for a couple of business days as there may be a delay by Carrier. We also recommend that you check your surrounding area and ask neighbors to see if it was misdelivered to the wrong address by accident.

Your unit should be in its original condition with the included box and must be packaged inside an outer unmarked shipping box. Please remove ALL of the original labels/stickers on the outside of the box before printing/attaching the return label then drop it off at any carrier location. If you do not have the original shipping box, any generic box will work just as well.

METGIFT is not liable if your package is damaged or lost due to mislabeling or improper packaging before it is dropped off at the carrier facility.

Yes. The consignee will be responsible for extra delivery charges if delivery failures are caused by the consignee. Shipment charges for returned products because of order cancellation or package rejection after the goods have been shipped will be at the consignee’s own expense and will be deducted from the refund. Shipment charges for returns without reason will be at the customer’s expense, and will be deducted from the refund.

Wax Stamps

We recommend chilling your wax stamp on an ice pack between uses to stop sealing wax from sticking to your wax stamp.

We use a lead-free brass, and it will not leech, however our products do not meet the FDA’s Food Safe standards.

Your wax stamp is likely developing a patina. This is a natural aging process of solid brass and will not affect the quality of wax seal your stamp creates. If you want to keep your wax stamp looking brand new, you can remove the patina using a brass jewelry cleaner. Look for a cleaner that doesn't contain abrasives as they can ruin the quality of the engraving.

To get the clearest impression we recommend using a good amount of pressure when stamping. If your wax stamp is still creating a faint impression even when you are pressing hard, please send us an email to with some photos of your wax seals - this will help us troubleshoot! The sealing wax is too hot, or the wax stamp hasn't cooled enough. Leave your wax stamp on the ice pack longer between seals or give some time for the wax to cool before pressing.

Pour some sealing wax and make a wax seal, removing any leftover wax. If this doesn't work, you can use a toothpick to pluck the wax. Avoid using a metal object as it can scratch the stamp.

Sealing Wax

Yes, our sealing wax has been specially formulated to resist the stresses from mailing.

We use a blend of waxes, pigments, and a flexibility additive to make our sealing wax. As our formula is proprietary to us we are unable to provide more information.

Yes, our sealing wax has been molded to fit perfectly in a standard glue gun. You can use our sealing wax sticks with our low temperature sealing wax gun or it will fit an glue gun with a 0.44" or 1/2" chamber.


Excess sealing wax can be wiped from your spoon using a paper towel - please be very careful as the spoon gets hot. Soot will form on the bottom of your sealing wax spoon during use and can be cleaned with warm soapy water.

This is normal as an open flame will cause soot to form on the bottom of your sealing wax spoon. We recommend cleaning with every use. To clean your spoon, wipe it with a paper towel once it has cooled.

To switch colors, first clear the chamber with regular glue gun sticks until it dispenses clear. Then insert the new color and squeeze the trigger to push the glue out until it dispenses, only sealing wax. We recommend investing in a sealing wax gun for each color you use if you switch colors.

Your sealing wax may be too hot. Unplug your Sealing Wax Gun and continue to work while your sealing wax cools down. If your gun continues to leak it may have faulty seal and can be replaced.
